23 Mar Benetti Unveils Project Life: A 279-Foot Gigayacht Designed for Luxury and Sustainability
Benetti has revealed new details about Project Life, its latest 279-foot gigayacht, at the Palm Beach International Boat Show. This yacht isn’t just the largest engineering platform in Benetti’s lineup—it’s a floating paradise built for socializing, relaxation, and seamless oceanfront living.
A Yacht Designed for the Ultimate Lifestyle
“We named it Project Life because it’s a celebration of luxury and adventure,” said Federico Ferrante, President of Benetti Americas. “It blends elegance with a cosmopolitan feel.”
To achieve this vision, Benetti collaborated with world-renowned designer Espen Øino, who crafted the yacht’s sleek exterior and flowing layout. Meanwhile, François Zuretti designed the interiors, creating an open, airy space that seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living.
An Expansive Beach Club and Social Hub
One of the yacht’s standout features is its nearly 3,000-square-foot beach area at the stern. Open on three sides, this space allows guests to move effortlessly between the beach platform and the indoor beach club. Two 46-foot-wide fold-down side doors and a spacious swim platform make accessing the ocean easier than ever.
At the heart of the main deck, a 194-square-foot glass-bottom pool serves as the yacht’s social center. Guests can lounge on surrounding seating, sip drinks at the recessed pool bar, or take in the ocean views without obstruction.
Luxury Accommodations with Breathtaking Views
Project Life offers six staterooms, all located at the front of the main deck. The owner’s suite spans 1,055 square feet, featuring a private retreat, an office, and a glass-enclosed Skylounge for panoramic sea views.
Elsewhere on the yacht, the 1,206-square-foot main salon boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, wooden accents, and soothing blue tones. The upper foredeck includes a helipad, Jacuzzi, and multiple lounge areas, while the bridge deck offers an open-air dining experience with live-cooking stations where guests can interact with the chef.
Cutting-Edge Sustainability and Technology
Project Life isn’t just about luxury—it’s also designed with eco-friendly technology. The yacht features diesel-electric propulsion, allowing it to run on both diesel and non-fossil fuels to reduce emissions. Solar panels embedded in the superstructure help charge electric tenders and water toys, making sustainable luxury a reality.
The Future of Yachting
Project Life redefines the modern superyacht, combining high-end luxury, smart design, and green technology. Whether entertaining guests, relaxing in the Skylounge, or diving into the ocean from its expansive beach club, this yacht offers an unmatched experience on the water.
Benetti has once again raised the bar for ultra-luxury yachting.
