Michigan-based Livaq is entering the electric ATV segment with its Equad, billed as “the most capable electric ATV ever.” The 2WD Equad uses a pair of 16 kW hub motors, enough to power to a top speed of 67 MPH.

The 1,010-pound quad has a range of 170 miles from a 15.4 kWh battery pack and a home charger that uses wireless technology. An independent front and four-link rear suspension give the Equad agile handling, with hydraulic brakes to maximize control.

The Equad’s bodywork is made from repurposed carbon fiber and has an overall angular, distinctive look. Livaq is taking preorders for the Equad now, with a 30% discount on a non-refundable $1,000 deposit.
