MANSORY HINTS AT FLYING SUPERCAR CONCEPT, EMPOWER
Mansory looks into the future of customizing and refining vehicles along with the new shapes and technologies of cars through Empower, an attempt to remagine a flying supercar with no wheels and that floats in the air when idle or parked. The concept of this flying supercar looks as if it borrowed design cues from carbon-fiber automobiles and hypervehicles that the luxury car modification firm has worked on, including Mercedes and Lamborghini. The sleek flying supercar glistens in the back, and Empower’s sharp edges recall the design of luxury vehicles. Its front windows are large enough to offer the driver and passenger panoramic views, and its doors may open upwards, similar to some hypercar models from Mercedes and Lamborghini. While the release of the images may provide insight into Mansory’s future plans for a flying supercar, details of Empower are still kept under wraps as the firm focuses more on other vehicle modifications for 2024.
THREE LUXURY CAR CONVERSIONS IN 2024
Mansory notes that it is not just the driving concepts themselves that are changing but also the cars in the future. This implies that the firm is set to head in that direction, adapting to refinement needs that the vehicles of tomorrow may need or want. ‘But what will it look like in the future? How will it be powered, and how will it travel? What will be fundamentally new?’ the firm asks.
It says no one can say for sure at the moment, but Mansory’s Empower flying supercar may already afford a glimpse of the potential future of vehicles. Whether cars that fly are possible or not is yet to be proven, but with high hopes in 2024, Mansory, founded in 1989 and known for modifying a series of luxury cars, sets its eyes on completing conversions for three luxury cars: the all-electric Rolls-Royce Spectre, the hybridized Lamborghini Revuelto, and the Ferrari Purosangue. Along with these conversions, Mansory plans to introduce new wheel designs, ideas in the area of interior refinement, and numerous approaches in the area of carbon part production.
