Ram’s entry into the eletric truck arena might be late, but the Ram 1500 Revolution concept promises enough tech features to rival Tesla’s Cybertruck.

The truck starts with a new design that will make its way into Ram’s lineup moving forward, according to chief designer Ralph Gilles. That includes the rear-hinged rear doors, pillarless entry, jump seats in the bed, and a full-length auto-darkening glass roof.

The Ram Revolution goes heavy on gadgetry, with a folding RAM logo, walk-up sequence, and Shadow Mode, which allows the truck to follow a person walking in front of it for short distances. Inside, nearly every function is controlled through touchscreens, with very few buttons, with the central screen being removable for use as a tablet. Ram didn’t release specs on the Revolution’s drivetrain, but expect high numbers in range and power when the production version eventually arrives.
