Rolls-Royce has unveiled the last of the three Rolls-Royce Boat Tails, commissioned by a client whose father started in the pearling industry. The car takes styling cues from racing yachts of the 1950s, most notably with a rear decklid covered in Royal Walnut and rose gold-plated strips.

The rose gold and cognac two-tone exterior colorway was chosen from the client’s personal collection of pearl shells, applied over hand-formed aluminum body panels. The Parthenon grille is milled from a single piece of billet aluminum and topped by a rose gold Spirit of Ecstasy. Inside, cognac and oyster-colored leather was carefully matched to the exterior, along with Royal Walnut and mother of pearl accents from the client’s collection.
