Sondor’s MetaCycle launched in 2021 with big specs and a tiny $5,000 price point. The diminutive two-wheeler has lead the Malibu-based company to offer the next electric bike in its lineup, the dual-sport MetaBeast X. The MetaBeast X uses a cast aluminum frame similar to the MetaCycle, with an inverted front fork and monoshock rear suspension.

Power comes from a 24-horsepower electric motor and chain drive, good for a 75 MPH top speed, and a 55Ah battery delivers 80 miles of range per charge.

Wire wheels with knobby off-road tires and high-mount fenders state the bike’s dual-sport intentions, while a tank-mounted display gives critical system information. A lower-specced version, the MetaBeast, is also available.
