15 May ASYNC A1 E-BIKE
1
The A1 uses a USD fork and a clever monoshock rear suspension that hides the motor, damper, and spring in the downtube of the frame, with the horizontal top tube carrying the battery pack. A belt drives the rear wheel, for smoother operation and less maintenance, with front and rear four-piston disc brakes providing stopping power.
The 1,200-watt motor allows for speeds of up to 35 MPH, and a digital display gives speed and charge information alongside a companion app for GPS tracking route planning. After a successful Indiegogo campaign, the A1 is available for order on Async’s website.
