27 May BMW Concept Speedtop: Limited GT Shooting Brake with 617-HP V8

BMW’s new Concept Speedtop takes the runaway success of last year’s Skytop and cloaks it in a head-turning, closed-roof silhouette. While the two cars share the same sculpted DNA—low stance, muscular arches, and crystalline lighting—the Speedtop trades the open-air targa vibe for an elegant shooting-brake roofline that sweeps into a tapered tail.

A hand-flaked paint gradient flows seamlessly from Floating Sunstone Maroon at the nose to Floating Sundown Silver over the rear quarters, its shimmer echoed by two-tone, 14-spoke alloys. Inside, Sundown Maroon leather wraps the dash, console, and brogue-perforated door panels, offset by Moonstone White semi-aniline seats and milled-aluminum switchgear.

Power comes from the most potent V8 in BMW’s current arsenal, delivering super-tourer pace with a grand-touring soundtrack. Just 70 examples will be built, each to be hand-specified by its owner; reservations are now open.
