California-based Bowlus is giving caping enthusiasts the opportunity to go camping indefinitely with the Volterra electric camper. The Volterra is powered by a 17kWh battery and solar array that can connect to an electric vehicle for emergency power — along with the camper’s appliances.

The Volterra’s Scandinavian-inspired interior features amenities like air conditioning, heated floors, satellite internet, and an induction cooktop — all without needing propane or natural gas. Accommodations can fit up to four guests, with the forward area for living/dining and the rear set up as a spa-like suite containing the bathroom and shower. The Volterra continues Bowlus’ classic riveted, aero-influenced exterior styling, making for a stylish contrast with the ultra-modern interior and tech.
