Forge Design’s Competizione Ventidue reinterprets the iconic Ferrari 250 GT in contemporary terms — with influences from jazz and architecture. The 250 GT was introduced in 1959, between two seminal events: The opening of the Guggenheim Museum and the release of Miles Davis’ masterpiece Kind of Blue.

Both the building and the record were designed without any digital tools, and this is the idea Forge Design wanted to capture with the Ventidue. Mechanically, the Ventidue draws from the 1961 “SEFAC Hotrod”, a 250 GT modified with a lighter aluminum body and more powerful 300 horsepower V12. The gas-powered Ventidue uses modern engine and control systems while retaining the 250 GT’s analog aesthetic. Miles Davis, a massive Ferrari enthusiast himself, would approve.
