11 Feb Horizon Yacht’s FD90

The four-stateroom yacht is far more than meets the eye, albeit smaller when compared to others you may see crowding the Internet. Its main-deck master boasts a convertible beach club on the lower deck and a fully-equipped beach club on the upper deck, the latter of which is highlighted by a gorgeous bar and entertainment center. It also features a convertible coffee table that’s been subtly embellished with slivers of bronze to further accentuate the Art Deco-inspired interior, which is equally stunning. Upon entering the main salon, owners are greeted by floor-to-ceiling windows and sprawling accents of satin walnut, black lacquer, and black glass. Moving forward, a pair of glass sliding doors lead into the formal dining area.

Putting its kitted-out layout aside, what truly stands out about Horizon’s latest build is its implementation of Jung automation, granting owners the opportunity to control temperature, lighting, and even what shows up on entertainment systems from their smartphone. Another interesting smart element is the master stateroom’s full-length smart glass wall that can provide privacy when desired. As it stands, these features can be used via smartphone or iPad devices.

With smart home gadgets gaining traction for making household chores so expeditious, adding such features to a yacht can only make life at sea even more convenient. With this new use of tech, it’s only a matter of time before varying yacht manufacturers make use of similar features. In the meantime, though, Horizon looks to set the curve with the stunning FD90.
