With over 100 million units sold since its debut in 1958, the Honda Super Cub motorbike is easily the best-selling vehicle of all time, with no signs of slowing down soon. In collaboration with its fellow Japanese brand, Seiko just unveiled a new limited edition of its 5 Sports watch with design cues inspired by the legendary bike.

Based on the Super Cub 110, with a retro colorway that takes after the classic green and cream livery used on first-generation models, this chronograph bears an array of period-correct nods. Inside the 42.5mm stainless steel case, the dial is designed similarly to the front of an actual Super Cub, with the 12 o’clock marker resembling the headlamp on the urban motorbike and the 11 and 1 o’clock markers looking like the orange blinkers on either side.

Likewise, the crown at the 4 o’clock spot sports a fuel gauge design, and the bezel is made to look like a speedometer going up to 30km/h. The green and cream Nato strap can be worn over the cuff for better visibility while riding.

Limited to just 6,000 pieces that each come in its own special box, this timepiece is rare, but also reasonably accessible for any Super Cub fanatics out there. This Seiko 5 Sports Honda Super Cub Limited Edition is available now via Seiko’s website for £340 (~$386).
