16 Jan sirius jet’s BMW-designed hydrogen VTOL aircraft to take flight in 2025

Sirius Aviation AG is aiming to clean up the airways with its Sirius Jet. Featuring a Hydrogen-Electric Ducted Fan Propulsion System, the aircraft plans to deliver zero-emissions flights. The Sirius will come in two models: a three-passenger Business Jet with a mile-flight range of 1,150 and a five-passenger Millenium Jet with a mine-flight range of 650.

Both will offer a cruise speed of up to 323 miles per hour, an altitude capability of 30,000 feet, and a quiet noise level of 60 dBa. Best of all, the jet will feature an airframe parachute system that reduces incident risk to nearly zero.
