Forget everything you thought you knew about submarines. U-Boat Worx has completely reimagined the dull metal vessels to give passengers an immersive underwater experience.

The Nexus puts explorers inside a transparent elliptical pressure hull that feels like you’re floating through the sea in a glass bubble. Its interior can accommodate up to 9 individuals in its revolving seats, each with up to 914 liters of space. The private submarine can travel up to 200 meters below the surface and reach up to 3 knots, while the 62-kWh lithium-ion battery lasts up to 18 hours on a single charge. To keep the experience inclusive, there’s also a lift to raise passengers in and out of the vessel.
