Founder and CEO of Blue Innovations Group John Vo has serious credentials in the aerospace, electric vehicle, and semiconductor industries with companies like Honeywell and Tesla. That gives Blue Innovations Group some serious credibility with the launch of the R30, an electric 30-foot day boat good for 8 hours of time on the water with up to 12 people.

Powering the R30 is a dual-motor powerplant making a combined 800 horsepower, capable of pushing the boat up to 39 knots. Behind the solar-lined, partially enclosed cockpit is a convertible dinette, a sunbathing deck at the bow, and an aft section with three walls that fold flat for excursions off the vessel. Below decks is a well-appointed cabin with dinette and wrap-around lounge area and master’s quarters. Blue Innovations Group is taking reservations for the R30 now, with deliveries scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2024.
