CIRCLE WOOD HOUSE

CIRCLE WOOD HOUSE

Surrounded by pine trees in a Polish forest, the Circle Wood House is a dwelling immersed in nature. The home is sited on a sandy clearing wrapping itself around a few existing trees. Designed by Przemysław Olczyk Mobius Architekci, its circular form is constructed from reinforced concrete and mimics the surrounding trunks with a timber facade made with Okume wood from West Africa. Internally, living spaces remain connected to nature with expansive glazed panels. Bathed in light, the interior doubles as a private gallery for the art-collecting owner, with the sculpted white staircase acting as one of the pieces.
