18 Apr HUBLOT’S SQUARE BANG UNICO SAPPHIRE

The new Square Bang Unico Sapphire (ref. 821.JX.0120.RT) has a slightly smaller sapphire case than previous titanium or gold models, measuring 41mm in diameter and 12mm thick. Transparent sapphire components are held together with titanium screws, and the bezel and caseback have sapphire crystals with anti-reflective treatment. The watch offers 50-meter water resistance and the One-Click strap changing system.
The Unico Sapphire features a clear sapphire dial with two registers for running seconds and chronograph minutes. Large baton markers and luminous hands provide low-light legibility. The date is displayed at 3 o’clock, and the hands follow the Big Bang style.
Powered by the in-house Cal. HUB1280 Unico 2 automatic chronograph movement, this watch has a 28,800vph frequency and a 72-hour power reserve. This 43-jewel, flyback chronograph movement consists of 354 components and uses a column wheel.
Priced at $95,000 USD, the Square Bang Unico Sapphire is among the more expensive Square Bang models, only surpassed by the diamond-paved, 18k King Gold Jewelry model. Despite its unique shape and materials, the watch retains the distinct Big Bang design DNA.
