14 May U-BOAT WORX UWEP ENTERTAINMENT SUBMARINE

Dutch submersible company U-Boat Worx has announced the latest addition to their lineup of subs — the UWEP, or Underwater Entertainment Platform. Measuring 115 feet in length, the UWEP lives up to its name with a 1,600 square feet floorplan and a maximum passenger capacity of 120 guests.

Renderings give a look at how the sub could be configured, with everything from fine dining to a James Bond-esque mobile underwater casino — or nearly anything else the buyer can dream up. 14 large spherical windows give a view on the ocean surroundings lit by floodlights, and the deck can be used when the craft is surfaced. The propulsion system is fully electric, with 24 hours of operating time and a max operating depth of 650 feet.
